About HackX
Who and What?
HackX is a 36-hour hackathon at KFUPM. We strive to foster innovation through a community of students who are motivated to build awesome software and hardware. Along with industry experts and mentors coming from all over Saudi to create an environment that fosters an atmosphere of learning through tech talks and one-on-one guidance. We focus on encouraging new comers and and put them out of their comfort zone to challenge their skills.
When and Where?
HackX is from April 4th to 6th, 2019 at Dhahran Techno-Valley (DTV) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM)

FAQs
A hackathon is a sprint-like event where people
from a variety of backgrounds come together to collaborate
on software and hardware projects. However, in our hackathon, you can also look forward to
inspiring guest speakers, educational workshops, expert mentors,
and, of course, fun games and yummy (free) food.
Our vision and our intentions are purely fueled by us wanting
to help the community grow and to contribute into its evolution.
We are creating the most epic space to allow collaboration
with the best people in the kingdom. Whereas we ignore focusing
on commercializing ideas and their feasibility.
Any graduate or under-graduate students from all over the kingdom
are welcome!
You can build whatever your heart desires,
whether its a web app, mobile app, hardware hack,
or an open source tool.
Our main focus is to bring you a
learning experience where you can have fun,
ask questions, and experiment with technology.
Absolutely nothing!
Just be open to learn and to teach, to share experiences and skills
and to overall have a really good time!. We will take care of bringing you
the coolest hardware which you can use to build the coolest things!.
Come energized, bring your laptops and chargers, and be prepared to have
one of the best experiences of your life!.
